Because of its small size, it is difficult to defeat prey, especially those that are larger than them. And sometimes the high alertness of the prey also causes the cheetah to lose its food.
More than that is the disturbance from other carnivores such as leopards, lions, especially hyenas. This greedy carnivore loves to rob the cheetah's prey, whenever it smells fresh blood, the hyenas will come to take the prey.
