Youth involvement key to reinforce global commitment to the Agenda 2030!
The Nordic countries place special emphasis on the common challenges they face with regard to their achieving the 17 SDGs. The high material consumption levels are affecting the region’s performance negatively in international comparisons on SDG 12. There is room for improvement if the countries are to achieve this goal by 2030. The realisation of the 2030 Agenda requires partnership and cooperation across the national and political borders. How can Nordic- Baltic multilateral cooperation give leverage to transformative actions? Will the young Nordics commitment, knowledge and innovation capacity bring about a strong Nordic-Baltic partnership for sustainable future?
