This video demonstrates the firing interval of an even fire inline 3 cylinder engine. I have previously uploaded a video of this configuration but this one is intended as a direct comparison to two recently uploaded uneven inline 3 cylinder engine videos as it was filmed with the same speaker setup.
The firing order of this configuration is 1 2 3
Cylinder 1 fires at 0 degrees, cylinder 2 fires at 240 degrees, cylinder 3 fires at 480 degrees.
Relatively this corresponds to 1 - 240 - 2 - 240 - 3 - 240 -
The following engines use this interval:
Triumph: Tiger 800, almost all triples
Laverda: triples made after 1982
Most motorcycle triples.
I guess the liquid piston X engine would have this interval too.
