Intercepted the area of a weak hook echo associated with this supercell. Rotation was mainly concentrated to mid-levels within the storm cell . . . the dew point/temperature spread was pretty large which allowed for elevated storm bases but a high hail threat. I did not get into the hail core, which would have been awesome though my time to get into the storm itself was limited. In this video I'm most likely being hit with the Rear Flank Downdraft with wind gusts of 60mph+ at times.
