Here's a December treat for you - the Down for the Count Concert Orchestra performing "Hooray for Hollywood" in rehearsal at Cadogan Hall.
We love this song, and particularly adore this arrangement written by Frank de Vol for Doris Day - especially its hauntingly beautiful opening. In fact we love the original so much that we think it's all over too quickly.... so couldn't resist extending it with our own instrumental section arranged by Mike Paul-Smith!
The song features Lydia Bell on vocals and Katie Edwards on alto saxophone, and the sounds of The Down for the Count Concert Orchestra with City String Ensemble.
