CONTEXT
This event focuses on the role of the international cooperation on water and climate issues to promote achievement of the Climate and Water Agenda, including Paris Agreement, Water Action Decade, etc.
The event presents existing measures and initiatives on water and climate, particularly High-level Panel on Water and Climate, declaring of 2025 as the International Year for the Preservation of Glaciers.
It serves as a platform to present new ideas and initiatives and develop recommendations related to water and climate issues.
The event encourages inter-sectoral cooperation and partnership on water taking into account the climate change risks and challenges.
