In 1994, jewellery store owner, Pamela Lawrence, was killed in the jewellery store she owned, in broad daylight, with nothing but a few dollars taken. Police were baffled over what the motive could be, but they soon arrested a man with a criminal record, that happened to be in the vicinity of the jewellery store- Andrew Mallard. Mallard protested his innocence but was eventually sentenced to 20 years in jail. Andrew Mallard, his family, and his team would end up spending the next decade and then some, fighting to prove his innocence. This story, full of tragedy and corruption, is one of the most infamous cases to ever happen in the city of Perth, Australia.
