The new and high quality foam for the saloon settee cushions arrives and gets cut to size, forming a delightful settee on which to conduct an interview with Hazel about her solo sailing adventures, sailing licenses and her brand new music EP. The keel timber gets a sand up before I delve into the engine insulation issue that reared its ugly head a while back.

This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
