We're collaborating with Robert from @AdventuresIntoHistory to tell the fascinating origin story of Coca-Cola. Millions around the world have enjoyed a coke but may not know the history of this brand and the tie that it has to the Confederacy in the Civil War. Enjoy!
NOTE: In the video, Robert & I refer to the Battle of Columbus as the last battle of the Civil War. There is a debate among historians over which battle was the last one of the Civil War. Some say that it was Columbus, which was the last battle to be fought before the war was officially declared to be over. However, the last engagement between soldiers occurred at Palmito Ranch in Texas. An interesting debate to be sure.
