I went to Galapagos Islands in April and it was such a fascinating and eye opening trip. There were so many sea lions, but I also saw lots of other animals including a couple penguins. I did love it in many ways, but I was also very aware of the human impact on this precious and unique environment. I obviously don't know the full picture, nor could I in 6 days, but my gut feeling was that this place should probably remain a lot less untouched by human development and I certainly was carrying some weight about that the entire time I was there.
