We review the 2023 Porsche Macan T, a handling-focussed special edition of the German sporty SUV - but is it the spec you really want?
The Porsche Macan is offered in four flavours: the four-cylinder base model and slightly sportier Macan T, and then the more polished and fast V6 models - the Macan S and GTS.
While the Macan T is marketed as a handling special, being quite a bit lighter than the sixes especially over the front end, the V6 models also have brilliant handling … so this isn’t a real advantage for the T, which is also much slower.
We say go for the S model, or the GTS if you really like alcantara.
The Macan competes with midsize luxury SUVs like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes GLC and Range Rover Evoque.
