We have a peach tree in our backyard that's about three years old, and we decided to finally prune it in the early spring. Typically, you'll want to prune about 40% of your peach trees each year to allow for greater sunlight, to eliminate weak branches, and to keep your trees from getting too tall. In our case, we hadn't pruned it up until now, so you'll see how we decided to select three main scaffold branches and one main trunk to support a good yield. After pruning, we applied an organic plant guard paint to protect against sunburn and insects. We hope to show you a great yield in the near future!
