A Senate estimates hearing has been told only 20 doctors had listed their fees on the government's $24m medical costs comparison website.

The number was revealed while the independent senator David Pocock was asking health department officials about the disparity between out of pocket costs for patients in the ACT compared with the rest of the country. Department official Brian Kelleher noted '20 doctors have listed fees on the individual fee disclosure element of the website.'
'In the ACT?' Pocock asked, to which Kelleher responded: 'No, nationally.' ►
