Unboxing and initial reviews of the Monoprice 6.25 x 10" Creative Drawing pad ($53 at time of video).
Note: Needed to use installation CD to get Photoshop to recognize the pressure sensitivity and drawing pad buttons,
BUT!!! I read from a couple reviews that the drivers are so old on the CD that you need to go to the Monoprice website and download the most recent. ZIP FILE LINK BELOW.

[ UPDATE ] A professional artist adjusted the pen's sensitivity to be a much thicker flow with lighter pressure, which helped me find that "middle zone" of pressure I complained about being unable to control.
======================
Overall Initial rating : 9/10
======================
Ease of installation : 9/10
Clarity of manual and helpfulness : 10/10
Sturdy/Hefty feel to hardware: 4/10
Proprietary Software Usability/Robustness : 7/10 (did not get to really investigate and I have no previous wacom experiences to compare it to)
PRO: $53 / Shipped to me very quickly / Functional in minutes.
CON: Pen requires battery / Flashing green LED every time you use the pen??! / Felt like there was no middle ground for the pressure sensitivity
(update: adjusting the pen's sensitivity to be much LESS, allowed me to find that middle ground)
