How to seal toilet base to the floor.

If your toilet is moving and shifting from the spot it's installed - it's recommended to seal the base to the floor. Also caulking helps to keep water intrusion from gaps under the toilet, which also might be a trap for some pretty foul smells.
In most parts of the United States, it is a requirement of building code to caulk around toilet bases.
Clean, white caulk line provides a neat, professional finish, so why don't do it?
