We're always told you should never fit it in the mix, let alone fix it in the master. But what if you don't have a choice?


In this video I use iZotope RX 9's Music Rebalance feature to separate a full master that I have no access to the multitracks for. From there, I can sample replace just the snare drum, with the help of some handy EQ tricks, and give some new life to this track.
