Lems attempts to split the difference between the Primal 2 and Trailhead v2/Mesa shoes. Did they succeed at combining zero drop with the lifestyle versatility we've come to love?
Spoiler: Lems continues to create great all-around lifestyle shoes — the Lems Primal Pursuit is no different, but it may not be a great dedicated running shoe. The Pursuit feels like a more athletic Trailhead v2, but doesn't have the streamlined sock liner upper of the Mesa.
Grab the Primal Pursuit if you want a do anything shoe which can handle hiking easily. Grab the Mesa if you want a more agile feeling shoe which can still hit the trails but isn't as protected.
