Six people were killed and 10 injured in a shooting and stabbing attack in the Israeli city of Jaffa, just before Iran launched a missile strike on Israel. Five of the injured are in serious condition.
Two men, reportedly armed with an assault rifle and a knife, opened fire on passersby near a light-rail stop and on a nearby street. CCTV footage showed the attackers dressed in black, emerging from a train and attacking people. One video on social media appeared to show the attackers executing a wounded person on the ground.
The attackers, from Jaffa and Hebron, were shot dead by security forces, while police searched for a possible third suspect. Nearby buildings were placed on lockdown.
