Using this Noctua NF-A14 IndustrialPPC-2000 Fan to cool down my engine/scooter/radiator.
Works like a charm. It runs with 2000 RPM and has high static pressure, perfect to cool down the radiator in the very hot summer days.
Havent seen my temperatures going above 75°C, this was the absolute max i have seen so far. Most of the time it stays between 60 and 70°C.
In Idle the temperature even starts to go down every few seconds. Very nice.
Without the fan (only radiator) i have reached a temperature of 90°C after like 10 Mins of driving when its very hot outside. This is because the original Aerox Radiator is too small to handle a highly tuned engine (atleast 13, 14 HP) in the very hot summer. The fan prevents heat build-up. In winter no problem.
Connect the 12V (red) cable with ignition power cable (brown) and black (ground) with your battery (-). Then the fan will only run with ignition turned on.
Using this because my Sport Pro MK2 + C16 gets very hot in summer days because the radiator is too small to handle all the heat and the fan prevents buildup of heat in the radiator. If you need it (if you have an even more powerful setup) you can even install a Fan with 3000 RPM, also 12V, just uses a bit more ampere but also no problem with a battery. I recommend Noctua Industrial Fans for this specific case because they are perfect for this imo.
