Thought I would explore the Shaugh Prior area of Dartmoor. Took a right hand turn from Cadover Bridge and parked the car at the base of Great Trowlesworthy.
Plan was to walk up to Great Trowlesworthy, over to Little Trowlesworthy, up over to Hen Tor, Shell Top and then make camp at Penn Beacon.
Like all good plans.. they never run smoothly.
After stacking it several times on the way to Great Trowlesworthy and Little Trowlesworthy I decided to miss out Hen Tor and Shell Top.
Visibility was poor at Penn Beacon but I had a good camp all the same.
The sprained ankle has not put me off..
