As part of NYC Green Infrastructure Plan, FlexiⓇ-Pave was installed at NYCHA Seth Low Houses in Brooklyn. This installation was one part of the Jamaica Bay Green Infrastructure Demonstration Project in the 26th Ward Sewershed.
FlexiⓇ-Pave is a type of porous pavement. Permeable paving uses a range of materials and techniques, such as permeable pavers or porous concrete, which allows water to seep in between the paving materials and be absorbed into the ground. Permeable paving can be used instead of traditional impermeable concrete or asphalt.
