Given two point vectors with one representing the initial point and the other representing the terminal point. The component form of the vector formed by the two point vectors is given by the components of the terminal point minus the corresponding components of the initial point. i.e. given the initial point as P(p1, p2) and the terminal point as Q(q1, q2), the component form of the vector formed by the two vectors is given by V(q1-p1, q2-p2).
The magnitude of a vector given in component form is given by the square root of the sum of the squares of each component of the vector. i.e given a vector V(p, q), the magnitude of the vector is given by |V| = sqrt(p^2 + q^2).
