One aspect of Gas Guns is that they’re are extremely sensitive to pressure inputs. Here, I tested a variety of different pressures: neutral, rearward, forward, in the prone position and then tested from kneeling positions. During the test, my KGM R30K became loose on the muzzle threads. I thought I was seeing wild dispersion due to positions, but once discovered and tightened, the group sizes shrank back into what I consider acceptable.
We use the bi-pod pressure test during the Modern Day Rifleman courses to show the shooter on any rifle how different inputs can cause POI shifts. Sometimes it’s you, sometimes it’s the gun - sometimes it’s your fault that it’s the gun.
Mean Radius 30 Rounds: 0.68 MOA, 2738FPS, SD 19.2FPS
