A review of my 2004 Fender Highway One Stratocaster, comparing it to my 2007 HSS Highway One Stratocaster. Some of the major differences include the larger "Robin Trower" headstock on the second version of the Highway One. The first version of the Highway One also included acrylic lacquer, vs. the nitrocellulouse lacquer of the second iteration of the Highway One. The first Highway One has Alnico 2 pickups, and the second Highway One has Hot Alnico 3 pickups. The early one also has medium jumbo frets, vs. the massive jumbo frets on the 2007 Highway One.
Awesome backing track by Now You Shred.
