Ever wanted to cast your bait just a little further beyond those breakers into deeper and more productive water?
For the last few years I've been using my trusty old DJI Phantom 3 for drone fishing. I used a rather expensive electronic bait drop mechanism until it recently broke. Instead of trying to fix it, I made a much cheaper and totally manual bait release hook out of an old water container.
It works really good and no more messing around with replacing batteries and turning on and off LED lights on the drone to release the bait.
In this video I'll show you how I made this new release hook and why I like it better than the old mechanism. I'll also show you how I setup my drone at the beach and fly out my baits.
