Hidden away in a small local park in San Bernardino is a relic from the end of the Cold War, a piece of the Berlin Wall. Anytime there's a piece of history located in a seemingly random or surprising location, I'm interested.
The Berlin Wall separated East and West Berlin from 1961 to 1989 before being torn down as the Cold War Ended, so how did a piece of it end up in a San Bernardino Park.
In this video we head to Ronald Reagan Park in San Bernardino to check out the piece of the wall, talk about the park's history, unrealized plans for the park, and issues the park and this piece of the Berlin Wall faces today.
Ronald Reagan Park is located at 6300-7098 Chestnut Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92407
