For those that have difficulty setting those shoulder blades in the right position this technique is the one for you! As physical therapists we can manually (with our hands) glide, slide and rotate the shoulder blade which are all essentially motions of the scapula.
Some individuals have difficulty with moving their shoulder blades in these directions (motor control deficit) starting off with manual assisted motions then followed with active resisted movements can help with this! Then follow it up with the exercises you want to perform in your sport or gym! .
