Thinking about buying a ebike equipped with a Bafang M620 motor? Well I’m on my fourth motor on a Ebike that’s only travelled 13,500 kms and my next Ebike will not have a Bafang motor, not after this experience.
Admittedly the last motor failure was completely my fault so this is actually my third replacement because of a failure, however,,,, I’ve yet to get more than 3500 kms on one of these units and each and every one has become unbearable loud after only 800 kms. ( 500 miles) of use.
This is a short video to show you what I found inside the current unit with just under 2000 kms of gentle use.
