Disclaimer: I unintentionally preached false doctrine by telling an anonymous audience “Christ died for ‘our’ sins.” He only died for God’s elect. Thankfully the tracts were more sound.
Today on Christmas Eve Day I finished my ‘Preaching Christ Crucified’ campaign at retail stores near you. During this campaign I preached inside and outside of stores throughout the Inland Empire. I distributed many Gospel tracts, prayed for people, and engaged in ‘one on one’ conversations. At times it almost seemed as if the Lord had people come forward, similar to an altar call in a church. Since thiswas my last store, I thought I’d share this video to ‘book end’ this outreach sort of speak.
I failed to preach the whole counsel of the Word of God. I tried to rush before being stopped, told to leave, and/or ejected; but neither one happened. Nevertheless, the tracts have a better presentation of the Gospel than I gave.
What an encouragement to find Christians that are ‘sold out’ for the Lord, not embarrassed nor ashamed of the Gospel (Luke 9:26). The young lady standing in line has a very important message for all of us. The Lord did some amazing things afterwards. The results are His, and to God be the glory!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world” (Romans 10-:13-18).
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
Side note: Today most do “church” backwards. The ‘church’ is not the building that we call our ‘church.’ Biblically speaking the word ‘church’ comes from the Greek word Ecclesia (or Ekklesia). Which means to ‘go out and assemble.’ Which includes the commandment to ‘go out’ and ‘preach the glorious Gospel.’ Remember that the birth of Jesus is a fulfilment of prophecy. Because of love, baby Jesus came to die so that you may live. He died upon a bloody cross. He died to be the sin sacrifice for our sins (our transgressions against Gods Law). He was buried, and then on the third day He rose from the grave. Those that are born-again, that repent from their sins, believe in the Gospel, and put their faith and trust in Christ will be saved. You will either be saved from God’s wrath, or you will endure God’s wrath. The next prophecy that has not yet been fulfilled, is Jesus will return on a white horse to wage war and wrath upon those that do not know Him, and that do not obey the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. As Jesus said in Mark 1:15 “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, – merry Christmas!
