A contentious debate over equating socialists with Nazis opened up during a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday.

GOP Rep. Louie Gohmert discussed the possible rise of another “socialist like Hitler to come along,” which drew strong responses from Democratic Reps. Steve Cohen and David Cicilline.
