Me and my friends made the beautiful and thrilling hike of Besseggen at the end of september 2016. The hike takes about 8 hours and is made by between 30-40.000 people each year. Making the hike one of Norways most popular mountain hikes among Preikestolen and Trolltunga.
I don't think we could have been any more lucky with the weather, since the snow and autumn painted the landscape in beautiful colors and there was practically no wind, even at the top of Veslfjellet.
The Besseggen Rigde hike is listed on National Geographics World's Best Hikes: 20 Thrilling Trails list: [ Ссылка ]
Besseggen is also known from Henrik Ibsens play Peer Gynt. Peer tries to convince his mother, Åse, that he has ridden over Gjendineggen, now known as Besseggen, on a reindeer bull. Peer Obviously lied.
