Students in the United States are being hit by a double whammy of rising fees and a spike in the cost of living.
The average price of attending a state university is now $22,000 a year - and the private ones are more than double that.
Meanwhile, inflation is forcing some students to choose between eating - or filling their car's fuel tank.
