The Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus can be prayed anytime throughout the year.

It is often prayed on the nine days prior to the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In preparation for the Feast Day, begin the Novena on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday.

The month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary are both in June.
