3 ... 2 … 1 … blast-off! Take command of your very own rocket ship and fly above Tomorrowland on Astro Orbiter!

This attraction first opened at Magic Kingdom Park on Nov. 28, 1974, as StarJets and reopened on April 30, 1994, as Astro Orbiter. The focal point of the ride changed from the Saturn V rocket to various planets floating around the rockets. On this space adventure, you’ll control how high and low you fly with a joystick, whether that’s soaring at the very top with the brightest stars or staying low and closer to Mission Control. For even more spectacular views, we recommend taking your space flight on Astro Orbiter at night! To board Astro Orbiter, you must first take an elevator to the loading platform area. Guests must transfer from their wheelchair, motorized scooter or ECV to board the vehicle. Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a rider 14 or older. Consider sitting this one out if you're prone to motion sickness.
