Bonjour,

Today I’m going to show you how to do two methods of acrylic application, one bead and two bead.

I’ve already applied and shaped my tips and prepped the natural nail so I’m going to start with dehydrator and acid based primer on the natural nail only because acrylic sticks to plastic easily.

I’m going to pop some medium speed liquid in a dampen dish and go in with one bead, big enough to cover the nail near the cuticle area and pat and press the product into the shape with the nail dipped down so gravity helps the process. If you find the acrylic setting too quickly for you, use Max Adhesion Monomer. When the acrylic is no longer sticky but still a bit warm, apply the pinching tool.

For the two bead application, I’m going to take a smaller bead, about half the nail and place it at the tip, pressing into a thin line on the centre of the nail and pressing down to the tip. For the second bead, place at the cuticle area and pat and press over the first bead to smooth it out. Again, pinch the nails.

I’m then going to file. starting by straightening up the side walls and then the free edge and then I’m going to file the cuticle area and then the surface. I’ll also buff to remove any demarcations.
