Este hongo es muy abundante en los pinares y es un buen comestible, pero hay que limpiarlo quitando la cutícula, el pie y los poros, tal como podéis ver en el video. Por debajo del anillo el color es amarillo oscuro que vira al pardo con la edad y por los restos de velo del anillo.
- Carne: Espesa, blanda de color blanco amarillo, de olor suave afrutado y sabor suave, Al corte no cambia el color
