Ten years ago, US Palermo finished 5th in Serie A, narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification, playing a vibrant brand of attacking football with talent like Javier Pastore, Edinson Cavani, and Fabrizio Miccoli.

In the space of a decade, the Rosanero have gone from rivalling the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus, to playing amateur football in Italy's fourth tier, Serie D.
