This video shows the Magician(Impostor) role which is a counter role to magician(crewmate).

When the Ghost is muted/hidden they can still chat with other ghosts but not with the magician. The Magician(Crewmate) can only talk to the ghost of the body that he has seen and want to talk to. He cannot see every other ghost chats.The impostor is also only allowed to mute/hide the chat of the ghost that he has killed before meeting and only one ghost can be muted at a time.
