This video is my opinion on two great spotting scopes that are about the same price and warranty. These are both high quality spotters.

The major areas that are important to me are quality in glass especially in low light conditions for the sharpness, brightness in the vibrant in colors from edge to edge and at long distances. Functionality is important as well as warranty.

Being an avid outdoorsman and hunter I rely heavily on a spotting scope. I've used many spotting scopes over the years and for the price these are great ones.

In conclusion I've found in low light conditions the Burris was sharper. Especially noticeable at a higher power. The fine tunning dial on the burris is great feature, not sure why vortex went away from that. The fastfire mount is game changer if you like to glass something quick. Both great but I have to give to Burris
