Just a video of what it's like to drive through Long Canyon (not the Moab one) on the Burr Trail. It's kind of the first of the really stunning parts of the road if you're headed west to east.
There's lots to see along the way but didn't want to be talking the whole time. Just some beauty shots of a relaxing drive with some music. Although my whole point in going there was to catch the brilliant yellows of the Cottonwood trees. Just a few days before they had been at their peak, and then 2 days before I arrived a freak cold snap came through and dropped the temperatures to the teens. The cold ended the fall leaves and so they all look dusty and dry (probably fell off the trees over the next couple days). But I was pissed that I missed the peak colors by literally a day. I had been calling into the Capitol Reef Visitor center daily trying to time it perfectly.
But even without the trees it's a gorgeous Red Rock canyon. Actually pretty common in Southern Utah, but this one has a paved road going down the middle of it so it's easily accessible.
