Walking along the Moon Walk on the Mississippi River in New Orleans with my buds when the Steamboat Natchez calliope pipes up! Couldn't resist! That's my 100 year old helicon tuba made by C. G, Conn. A helicon is a tuba but it's not a sousaphone, which is also a tuba. The calliope player is Richard Scott Obenschain who is subbing for Debbie Fagnano. Thanks to Spider Murphy for some pretty nice seat of the pants camera work!
