In this video I talk about why people blame victims.
As a survivor who speaks out publicly and have put myself out there I expect criticisms and judgements. But I've developed some very thick skin.
In our society victims and survivors contend with not being believed, being ignored and unprotected and in many cases, being blamed.
We have to change this practice.
I'm all for answering questions, but I do not condone cruelty.
I hope this video can encourage those who have been affected by a crime and bring some accountability to the non-believer, the finger pointers, the haters and the victim blamers.
If you haven't been in someone's shoes, don't act like you know how to walk and function in them.
Shout out to all my new subscribers! Thank you so much for being brave enough to join me on this journey.
