In today's video I review a Wrestling technique that I call the "Duck Double"
I'm not sure what other Wrestlers call it, but regardless it's another very well-known Duck Under technique that is often under-utilized in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World.
I Wrestled heavyweight all my life, and as a result of being a smaller guy in the weight class (often 30-40lbs lighter than my opponents) I had to develop ways to get around my bigger opponents, rather than just blowing through them.
With that being said, this takedown isn't just one that I use in Wrestling. I also constantly use this and other variations of the Duck Under safety in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
In Fact, It's probably one of my best takedowns in No-Gi BJJ too.
Regardless of which grappling art you practice, this Duck Under Variation is a fun one to add to your arsenal. Hopefully you find it useful.
