Today Alan from Tentworld Ipswich explains how you can reduce the condensation inside of your tent.
Condensation is a naturally occuring phenominon, that can happen inside your home & tent.
There are some ways you can reduce condensation in your tent & home.
1) Ensure all wet gear is kept out of your tent.
2) Keep adequate ventilation inside of your tent. (Tents are not insulated, if the inside of your tent is warmer than outside - excluding wind chill, then you're very likely to suffer from condensation). A well designed tent will offer you a variety of ventilation options that you can use depending on the wind direction & rain intensity.
3) To stay warm inside your tent, use warmer clothing & sleeping gear. Dont close windows.
4) Hang dry microfibre towel inside tent. This can absorb moisture in the air, and collect it rather than on the walls of your tent where it can then condense into droplets.
5) Test your tent for leaks before camping in it. This way, you can be certain that you're suffering from condensation & not a leaking tent!
