As I said in the video, connecting an old electric piano, electric keyboard, or MIDI controller to your DAW (whether on PC or Mobile) is very straightforward.
You just need two things:
1) An Audio Interface (with MIDI IN/OUT ports)
2) A MIDI Cable
In the video, I'm using a PreSonus AudioBox USB96 and just a standard MIDI cable, but I think a better move would be to get a Scarlett 4i4 with the MIDI ports on the back. If I understand correctly, the regular Scarlett Solos and 2i2's do not come with MIDI ports. I know my 2i2 doesn't.

Studio Live Today has a video where he shows how to do it with a USB to MIDI cable, but as I was saying, I chose to go about it in a different way.

If you want to connect to a mobile device, it's really the same thing, except I would recommend getting the USB/Camera Adapter from Apple if you're using an iPhone/iPad.
Also, older models may need an external power source to power the audio interface so you could connect a power bank or a block charger to the other side of the USB/Camera adapter.
