A glimpse of the new addition to the Twycross Zoo, the Sumatran Tiger. This is Sialang the male. The female Jahly is quite shy and still hiding. This is just a preview of the tigers as their new enclosure was only open to members so the pair could get use to the visitors at their new habitat. They travelled more than 700 miles all the way from France. Isn't he just gorgeous?
They will be in separate accommodation in their brand new, state-of-the-art habitat which at 3,000m² is one of the largest purpose built Sumatran tiger habitats in the UK!
