Superb version of Schubert's Fifth Symphony by the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the great Serge Koussevitzky. Recorded April 4, 1947. Restored directly from the original 33rpm LP, Camden CAL-106 using the CEDAR sound processing system, Linn LP 12 turntable with Urika phonostage, Radikal power supply, and Transfiguration Temper Supreme cartridge, after disc cleaning on Audio Systeme Vinyl Cleaner. Movements: 1 - Allegro; 2 - Andante con moto (4:37); 3 - Menuetto and Trio (14:50); and 4 - Allegro Vivace (19:17). This restored version (c) and (p) 2020 by Gerald Treacy, All Rights Reserved.
