What are you feeding your dog? What if you needed to change the type of food you feed? Dr. Judy discusses feeding our pets and her personal favorite types of pet foods. She talks about freeze dried and dehydrated dog foods and shares her opinions regarding foods that are high in carbs and starches. For her own dogs, she likes rotating their diets rather than continuing to feed the same protein over and over. Without apology, Dr. Judy says that with her rescues the dry kibble they were eating before coming to her stopped at the door. Even with the variety we have today of dehydrated and freeze dried food, she suggests adding up to 30% fresh food to aid in health and longevity. (Recorded 8/07/2020)
