Don’t just think a large system is a big 30KW boiler 2 / 3 zone’s and a big vented cylinder. A large 3 bed with a separate shower UT or extension that system would be expensive
to install and running cost.

Location is most important, as close to the bathroom or mid way to the kitchen is most efficient, consider water draw off and gas
wastage over 12+ years.
Short pipe runs make more profit for the installer
Stop installing vented cylinders in 2024 we should ONLY use UNVENTED tell the customer "we no longer use because of rats and birds in the loft tank and poor water flow”

A combi with 2 zones has many advantages,
The boiler cost is very similar
The kitchen has instant hot water 247
The bath and shower have high flow rate independent of the combi side
The heating is much more efficient with a RF or Smart Control from the boiler manufacturer, stop wasting time drilling in walls,
only offer 'table top' and APP controls.
