The keel laying ceremony of the Ancient Stitched Ship Project at Hodi Innovations (OPC) Pvt ltd, Goa was held on the 12th of September 2023. To celebrate and revive India's ancient Maritime Glory in the Amrit Kaala the Stitched Ship technology of ancient India is being recreated in a Government project in coordination with the Indian Navy and Hodi Innovations Pvt. Ltd. The design of the ship has been inspired by a ship painting in Ajanta caves, although it will be an adaptation. The stitched ship was India's unique ship-building technology that did not use any Nails, the entire ship would be stitched. Even today some fishing boats are stitched in the same way.

Shri Sanjeev Sanyal is currently the Principal Economic Advisor to the Government of India and also represents India on a number of international forums.
He is also a well-known urban theorist and writer. His best-selling books include Land of the Seven Rivers, The Indian Renaissance, India in the Age of Ideas, and The Ocean of Churn.
Admiral R Hari Kumar PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC is a serving flag officer in the Indian Navy. He is the 25th and current Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS).
He is an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. He was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 January 1983. In his career spanning over 38 years, he has commanded Coast Guard Ship C-01, IN Ships Nishank, Kora, Ranvir and the Aircraft Carrier INS Viraat.
Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi is an Indian politician and the current Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India. She is a Member of Parliament from New Delhi Parliamentary constituency in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
She is also a lawyer in the Supreme Court of India.
Besides writing articles in journals, periodicals and newspapers on socio-political issues, she is also interested in the History and Civilisation of India.
Smt. Lekhi has been a member of the National Commission for Women's special committee, Chairperson of the Special Task Force on Women Empowerment, Vice Chairperson of JPM, Blind School (New Delhi) and Joint Secretary of the Blind Relief Association, Delhi.
